There were no new COVID-19 cases reported in the tri-county area, according to Saturday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
There were 241 new positive cases in the state.
There were 29 new COVID-19 deaths in the state confirmed in Saturday’s report after a historical number of tests were added to the dashboard. The deaths range from August 19, 2020 to June 17, 2021.
There have been 4,477 variant cases of COVID-19 reported in Indiana. The most common variant is the B.1.1.7, or Alpha, variant with 3,476 cases. There are 462 cases of the Gamma variant, 415 cases of the Epsilon variant, 97 cases of the Delta variant, and 27 cases of the Beta variant.

Over 5.4 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana while over 2.7 million people in the state are fully vaccinated.
