A new assistant fire chief has been named at the Plymouth Fire Department.
Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter announced that Brandon Cooper was recently appointed to that role having served as the Division Chief of Training.
Cooper previously served as a volunteer on the Culver-Union Township Fire Department and as a Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy and K9 handler. He was also a Military Police Officer for the United States Army in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Cooper is a certified paramedic, a State of Indiana primary instructor, EVOC instructor and Instructor 1.
He and his wife, Jessica, and their two children reside in Plymouth.
Cooper stated in a press release that he hopes to continue to “strengthen our team and improve our service to the community.”
