Marshall County Health Nurse Lisa Letsinger asked the commissioners for permission this week to apply for a grant that would reimburse the county for administration fees collected for the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Letsinger said there is no set amount at this time, but it will be collected and provided to the state for reimbursement.
The commissioners approved the grant application request with a unanimous vote.
She added that the number of people coming in for vaccinations ebbs and flows, but the Health Department staff is seeing younger people coming in for the COVID-19 vaccine this summer.
