The John Glenn School Board members approved the employment of several new people to various departments in the school corporation Tuesday night.
Patrick Fuller was introduced as the new Walkerton Elementary School principal. He comes to the corporation from Union Township School Corporation. He replaced long-time principal Tim Davis who was really appointed as the corporation director of learning and student services.
Daniel Medesi is the new director of technology from Culver Community School Corporation.
Will Groves is the new director of transportation. Groves was previously the assistant principal at LaVille Elementary School.
Jessica Bogard was hired as the new North Liberty Elementary School guidance counselor. She has experience from working with the Department of Child Services in St. Joseph County and a supervisor role in Marshall County.
Finally, Derek Meilaender will be the new choral director at the John Glenn High School and Urey Middle School. He worked previously at Michigan City and South Bend Schools.
The school board members welcomed the new staff members to the John Glenn family.
