The John Glenn School Board members reviewed adult meal prices for the upcoming school year when they met Tuesday night.
Superintendent Christopher Winchell said adult breakfast and lunch prices will be adjusted for the 2021-2022 school year in accordance with the federal food services. The price will remain the same for students, but students will continue to receive free breakfast and free lunch throughout the school year, thanks to the USDA.
The adult breakfast price will increase from $1.80 to $2.50 and the lunch price will increase from $3.50 to $4.60. The price increase is in compliance with federal guidelines.
The school board members approved the price adjustment with a unanimous vote.
