Eight more people in the tri-county area have tested positive for COVID-19, according to Friday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
Four people in Pulaski County were newly diagnosed, along with two more people in Starke County and two more people in Marshall County.
Another five people in the state have died of COVID-19, raising the overall total number of deaths to 13,244.
Hoosiers age 12 and older are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. To make an appointment, or to find the nearest vaccination clinic visit https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted at most sites.
About 38 percent of the population in Pulaski County is fully vaccinated, along with 37 percent of the population in Marshall County and 30 percent of the population in Starke County.
