Lawn chairs lined Plymouth Street in Bremen Monday afternoon as residents save spots to watch the highly anticipated return of the parade that welcomes the start of the Bremen Firemen’s Festival.
The event begins today with the parade at 6:30 p.m. ET starting at Indiana Street to East Street via Plymouth Street through downtown Bremen. The bandstand is located at Center and Plymouth Streets.
The festival goes through Saturday, June 19 with carnival rides at 6 p.m. ET each day along with the Bremen Firemen’s food tent. There will be other vendors available each night during the event. Golf cart and bike night is Thursday, June 17, a martial arts demonstration is set for Friday, June 18, and the one mile fun run, 5K and gear run, arm wrestling competition, and fireworks are all scheduled for Saturday, June 19. The fireworks display is expected to begin around 10:30 p.m. ET.
