The Bourbon Town Council members will meet tonight where they will discuss a possible contribution to the Marshall County Council on Aging. They tabled the request during their May meeting so they can look into the town’s American Rescue Act funding. The federal funding allows the town to give to organizations that experienced funding losses due to COVID-19 and the Council on Aging could qualify for the use of those funds.
The council will also open bids on the second phase of the town’s sewer project. The project will involve slip lining sewer pipes to extend the life of the infrastructure.
Real Services will be discussed and all department heads will give updates as necessary.
The Bourbon Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. ET at the Bourbon Town Hall at 104 East Park Avenue.
