There were no injuries in a Tuesday afternoon crash in Marshall County between a semi tractor-trailer and a water truck.
The accident caused a diesel spill on U.S. 30 at Tulip Road, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department. Officials from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) were called to the scene to contain the spill.
The incident caused a brief closure of the westbound lanes on U.S. 30 in that area, but the scene has since been cleared.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by Plymouth Fire and EMS, Indiana Department of Transportation, IDEM, and a towing company.
