A Winamac man was arrested in the overnight hours Tuesday, May 4 on suspicion of theft in the Culver area.
Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence in the 19,000 block of State Road 10 at about 2 a.m. ET after dispatchers received a call about a person entering vehicles and taking items from vehicles in the area, according to the report.
Officers located the man, later identified as 43-year-old Randy Bishop, and police say he was found to be in possession of several stolen items and stolen cash believed to be from the victim’s vehicles.
Bishop was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of theft and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
