Thirteen New COVID-19 Cases Reported Locally

Marshall County had 11 new COVID-19 cases in Thursday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health while Starke County and Pulaski County had one new case in each county. 

They were among 900 additional residents in the state who have been diagnosed with COVID-19.  That increases the overall state total of COVID-19 cases to 732,692. 

Another five people in the state have died of COVID-19. 

Residents age 12 and older are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.  Individuals under the age of 18 will only be able to get the Pfizer vaccine.  Schedule vaccination appointments by visiting https://ourshot.in.gov or by calling 211.  Over 2.2 million people, or 49 percent of eligible Hoosiers, are fully vaccinated including 12,658 people in Marshall County, 5,191 people in Starke County and 3,758 people in Pulaski County.
