Officers from the Plymouth Police Department arrested three people on suspicion of drug possession in separate incidents over the weekend.
They responded to a report of alleged drug activity at a location on Michigan Street just after 1 a.m. ET Saturday. After an investigation, 21-year-old Lane Pace of Plymouth was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released from the Marshall County Jail with no judicial review. Later that morning, a traffic stop on North Michigan Street reportedly found 40-year-old James Hoover of Warsaw driving a car on a suspended driver’s license. A Lakeville man was taken into custody Saturday evening after a Plymouth officer allegedly found 18-year-old Joshua Fansler in possession of drugs. The officer was following up on an investigation when he saw Fansler standing outside of the residence on Skylane Drive. According to the report, the officer saw a bag hanging out of Fansler’s pocket which reportedly contained a controlled substance. Fansler was arrested on possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He was released from the Marshall County Jail after posting a $1,505 cash bond.
