Nineteen people are recent graduates of the Leadership Marshall County Progam, a joint program between the Marshall County Community Foundation and the United Way of Marshall County.
Participants in the program obtain perspective from Marshall County community leaders, programs, and service initiatives while engaging in interactive assignments which raise community awareness and action. Involvement in group projects encourages further investigation into long-term community goals, strategies, and planning objectives.
The program has a length of nine months where current topics were explored and challenges identified in Marshall County where positive change was calculated. Workplace and industry, education, diversity and mental health were some of the areas that were explored.
