Another 15 people have tested positive with COVID-19 in the tri-county area which includes six people from Marshall County, six people from Starke County and three from Pulaski County.
There were 683 new cases of COVID-19 cases in the state, according to Saturday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. Another six people in the state have died COVID-19 in the last month.
There are over 2,800 people who have tested positive with one of four COVID-19 variants. Nearly 2,300 people are positive with the B.1.1.7 variant originally identified in the U.K., 274 cases of the variant originally identified in California, 240 cases of the variant originally identified in Brazil, and 25 cases of the variant originally identified in South Africa.

Over 2.4 million residents are fully vaccinated. In Marshall County, 34.7 percent of the population is fully vaccinated, while 28.8 percent of residents in Starke County are fully vaccinated and 36.9 percent of Pulaski County residents are fully vaccinated.
