Eight New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Tri-County Area

Marshall County had five new cases and Starke County had three new cases of COVID-19, according to Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  Pulaski County did not report any new cases. 

Another 12 people in the state have died of COVID-19, which raises the total number of deaths to 12,950. 

Hospitalized COVID-19 patients total 967 Tuesday, which is over 200 more patients than one month ago.

A mobile clinic is open today through Saturday at the La Porte Rural King from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT.  The facility is located at 1340 State Road 2 West. 

More than 4.3 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana.  Over 11,000 Marshall County residents are fully vaccinated, while almost 4,700 people in Starke County are fully vaccinated.  Nearly 3,600 people in Pulaski County are fully vaccinated.
