Dedication Ceremony Planned for Habitat for Humanity House in Plymouth

Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County home

Volunteers with Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County will be celebrating the completion of the 23rd family home in Plymouth Sunday, May 16 at 2 p.m. ET.

Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County Executive Director Dean Byers noted in a press release that this is the second home in the area of Pearl and Clark Streets in Plymouth with one more home planned at the site.

Volunteers have been working two days a week with homeowner Jessica McMillen to complete the home for her and her family.  They will be able to move into their beautiful new home once all of the finishing touches are complete and the building inspector issues an occupancy permit.

Those attending the dedication ceremony May 16 will be asked to observe social distancing.  Facial coverings are optional.  Reverend Chuck Krieg will preside over the ceremony.

Habitat for Humanity helps builds homes for families who have a housing need, who are willing to put in sweat equity into construction, and who are able to make an affordable monthly mortgage payment.
