Culver Community School Corporation students will move to virtual learning Thursday, May 6 as the corporation has seen an increase in COVID-19 positivity rates.
Students will not have school Friday, May 7. All classified employees will report to work on Thursday and Friday. Teachers will be working from home.
In a Facebook post Wednesday afternoon, Superintendent Karen Shuman noted that classrooms, buses, and other common areas will undergo a sanitizing effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Friday’s canceled day of class will not affect the school calendar, so the rest of the school year will continue as scheduled.
