As the regular school year begins to wind down, Argos School Board members finalized staff for summer school which is throughout the month of June, according to Superintendent Ned Speicher.
“We hired twelve summer school teachers for catch-up growth this summer,” stated Speicher. “Our summer school program will be the month of June. During summer school, we’ll also free lunches for all of our kids that are attending summer school or literally anyone who walks into one of our schools can get a free lunch during the month of June.”
The USDA Summer Food program offers free lunch for students during the summer. The program has been instrumental during the school year as free meals were offered to students throughout the entire year.
