The Argos Community School Board members agreed last week to give the classified staff a stipend, according to Superintendent Ned Speicher.
Speicher stated, “All of our classified staff, such as maintenance workers, bus drivers, secretaries, and cooks will get a stipend just as an appreciation for all of the extra work they’ve had to do to keep us open during the COVID crisis. That’s a $300 stipend.”
Speicher commented that the board members are grateful for all of the work done during the school year.
