Two people were arrested Saturday night following a traffic stop in Marshall County.
A Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy initiated the traffic stop in the area of U.S. 30 and Plymouth-Goshen Trail around 10:30 p.m. ET. During the course of the traffic stop, suspected methamphetamine, heroin, and marijuana were reportedly found inside the vehicle, along with paraphernalia and syringes, according to the report.
As a result, the driver, 28-year-old Arista Butcher of Warsaw, and passenger, 35-year-old Ashley Vo of Syracuse, were arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail. They face preliminary charges of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. They were both given a $1,505 cash bond.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
