Twenty New COVID-19 Cases Reported Locally

Another 867 people in the state have been diagnosed with COVID-19 including 13 people in Marshall County, four people in Starke County and three people in Pulaski County.

Another 13 people in the state have died of COVID-19 which leaves that total at 12,883 in Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. 

More patients with COVID-19 are filling hospitals throughout the state.  Tuesday’s report showed 955 COVID-19 patients in hospitals which is an increase of 62 from Monday’s report.  

Hoosiers seeking free COVID-19 vaccines can receive either the Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson vaccine today through Thursday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and beginning Wednesday at the mass vaccination clinic at the former Roosevelt High School in Gary.

Hoosiers age 16 and older are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine and can do so at one of more than 700 clinics around the state. Appointments are preferred but are not required. To find a location or to schedule a vaccine, visit https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211.
