Sixteen New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Tri-County Area

Nine more people in Marshall County tested positive with COVID-19 in Friday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health, along with five more people in Starke County and two more people in Pulaski County. 

They are among 1,124 additional people in the state who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 which increases the overall total to 712,858. 

Another five people in the state have died of COVID-19.

Appointments are available for those ages 16 and older to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.  Visit https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211 to make those appointments. 

Appointments can be made to the mass vaccination site at the former Roosevelt High School in Gary which is offering the Pfizer vaccine.  FEMA clinics are scheduled for Saturday at the Marquette Park Pavilion in Gary from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET at the Tolson Center in Elkhart and the Center Lake Pavilion in Warsaw.

Over 3.9 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana.
