Road and lane closures are expected on U.S. 6 and on State Road 331 beginning Monday, April 19.
Indiana Department of Transportation officials say the U.S. 6 bridge over State Road 331 will be closed for a bridge deck overlay projet and bridge painting. This work is anticipated to prolong the life of the bridge deck. The official detour will follow State Road 106.
Flaggers will direct traffic around lane closures for the bridge work and for paving operations on State Road 331 between State Road 106 to U.S. 30 for paving operations.
These projects will be in progress through early July of this year.
