Thirteen more people in Marshall County and six more people in Starke County have tested positive with COVID-19, according to Thursday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. There were no new cases reported in Pulaski County.
The overall total of COVID-19 cases since March 2020 in Marshall County is up to 5,629, and it is 1,956 in Starke County and 1,108 in Pulaski County.
There were 1,240 new cases reported in the state which is the highest number of new daily cases reported in a month. There were nine additional COVID-19 deaths which raises the total to 12,642.

As of Thursday, 2,857,486 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana. That number includes 1,695,022 first doses and 1,162,464 individuals who are fully vaccinated. Currently, 7,086 Marshall County residents are fully vaccinated, 2,993 people in Starke County are fully vaccinated and 2,324 people in Pulaski County are fully vaccinated.
