Marshall County Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

A Star City man is in the Marshall County Jail after a traffic stop in Argos Wednesday night.

A Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy initiated the traffic stop around 11:50 p.m. ET in the area of U.S. 31 and State Road 10.  Police reportedly found 64 grams of methamphetamine during the investigation. 

The driver, 24-year-old Christopher J. Williamson, was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.  He is being held in the Marshall County Jail.

Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
