Marshall County and Starke County continue to be in the yellow status on the state’s County Metrics Map which indicates a moderate community spread of COVID-19. Pulaski County is in the blue status which indicates low community spread of COVID-19. La Porte County remains in the orange status which shows a high community spread of COVID-19.

There were 1,272 new cases of COVID-19 in the state in Wednesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. Marshall County had 22 new cases, Starke County had 10 new cases and Pulaski County had two new cases.
Additionally, 19 additional people in the state have died of COVID-19, increasing the total number of deaths to 12,902.
Residents age 16 and older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Those interested in receiving a vaccine can obtain them without an appointment at participating clinics. Over 4.1 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana.
