Another six people in Starke County tested positive with COVID-19 which pushed Starke County to reach a total of 2,000 COVID-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.
Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health also showed another six people in Marshall County and another three people in Pulaski County who were recently diagnosed with COVID-19. They are among 909 additional Hoosiers who have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
Three more people in the state have died of COVID-19 which raises the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 12,746.
The number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 increased from 825 in Sunday’s report to 909 in Monday’s report.

As of Monday, a total of 3,403,950 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana.
The state’s school coronavirus dashboard was updated Monday which shows 472 additional student cases in the state, 38 teacher cases and 72 staff cases.
There were less than five new student cases at LaVille Junior/Senior High School, LaVille Elementary School and Urey Middle School in Walkerton. There were less than five staff cases at the LaVille Elementary School.
