Bremen Town Council Approve Baker Tilly Agreement to Help Town with ARP Funding

The Bremen Town Council members will work with Baker Tilly representatives to formulate a plan on spending money received from the American Rescue Plan.

Initial information release on guidelines suggest funds can be used to respond to a public health emergency; workers performing essential work; recover revenue losses; investments in water, sewer and broadband; and the transfer of funds to not-for-profit or special purpose unit of state or local government.

The Town of Bremen will receive just over $900,000 to fund projects outlined in a plan.  It will come in two distributions that are anticipated in May of this year and in May of 2022. The town has until the end of December 31, 2024 to spend the money.
