State Expands COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility

Indiana residents ages 45 and older can now receive a free COVID-19 vaccine.

The Indiana Department of Health made the vaccine eligibility expansion announcement Tuesday which makes the vaccine available to an additional 415,640 Hoosiers.

To schedule an appointment, visit https://ourshot.in.gov and select a location from one of more than 400 clinics around the state. Residents needing assistance can also call 211, contact one of Indiana’s Area Agencies on Aging or AARP.

Residents looking to be part of the vaccination clinics through the federal vaccine program, including Meijer and Kroger, will need to be scheduled through those retailers.
