For the second day in a row, there were no new cases of COVID-19 in Starke County, according to Tuesday’s daily COVID-19 report from the Indiana Department of Health.
There were six new people diagnosed with COVID-19 in Marshall County and one more person diagnosed with COVID-19 in Pulaski County. They were a part of the 568 additional people in the state who tested positive with the novel coronavirus in Tuesday’s report.
Since March of last year, Marshall County has had 5,515 positive COVID-19 cases, while Starke County has had 1,909 and Pulaski County with 1,092.
Another 12 people in the state died of COVID-19 pushing the total number of deaths to 12,466.

As of Tuesday, 1,297,213 first doses of vaccine have been administered in Indiana, including 7,636 in Marshall County, 3,407 in Starke County and 2,563 in Pulaski County. There are 852,183 fully vaccinated individuals in the state with 5,228 people in Marshall County, 2,014 people in Starke County and 1,707 people in Pulaski County.
