Pulaski County Reports 45th COVID-19 Death

Another Pulaski County resident has died while positive for COVID-19. The death occurred on Wednesday, according to Sunday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. That brings Pulaski County’s total COVID-19 death count to 45.

No new positive cases were reported in Pulaski County, but Marshall County had seven and Starke County had one. The state as a whole is now up to almost 678,000 cases and 12,536 confirmed deaths.

More than 5,700 Marshall County residents are now fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, along with almost 2,400 Starke County residents and almost 2,000 Pulaski County residents. More than 17 percent of all Hoosiers age 16 and older are now fully vaccinated, while over 26 percent have gotten a first dose.

Starting Monday, any Indiana resident age 40 and older can sign up for the vaccine at ourshot.in.gov or by calling 211.
