The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet tonight where Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt will have the sidewalk list for this year’s ADA transition plan for review. He will also discuss a sidewalk request at 615 Webster Avenue.
Police Chief David Bacon will present a parking request to the board members. City Engineer Rick Gaul will have updates about the Laporte Street historic footbridge and an alley drainage issue at the First United Methodist Church property on N. Michigan Street.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet at 6 p.m. tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.
A second public hearing concerning the plans for the second phase of the River Park Square project will be held during tonight’s Plymouth City Council meeting followed by Mayor Mark Senter’s State of the City Address. City Attorney Sean Surrisi is also expected to present the first agreement regarding aid to the Aquatic Center and a Briarwood water deposit request. An update on the Habitat for Humanity development is also anticipated during tonight’s meeting along with a Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Communities Initiative report.
