There were 701 additional people diagnosed with COVID-19 in the state, according to Sunday’s daily report from the Indiana Department of Health.
Four more people in Marshall County tested positive with the coronavirus, along with two more people in Starke County and three new people in Pulaski County. The total number of cases in Marshall County is now up to 5,506. It is 1,909 in Starke County and 1,090 in Pulaski County.
Ten more people in the state died of COVID-19 which brings the statewide number of COVID-19 deaths to 12,446.

The number of people receiving the vaccine continues to rise. In Sunday’s report, 1,270,966 first doses have been administered while 830,862 people are fully vaccinated.
Over 7,500 people in Marshall County have received the first dose, along with almost 3,400 in Starke County and over 2,500 people in Pulaski County. There are 5,200 fully vaccinated individuals in Marshall County, 1,960 individuals in Starke County and 1,691 individuals in Pulaski County. Those who are fully vaccinated received the second Pfizer or Moderna shot, or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
