Marshall County Community Corrections Client in Custody after Reportedly Fleeing Placement

Travis Davis

A client with Marshall County Community Corrections was taken into custody March 10 after allegedly leaving his placement in the Serenity House in Warsaw six days prior.

Marshall County Community Corrections Director Ward Byers was able to conduct an investigation and located Travis Davis at the Economy Inn in Plymouth, according to the report. Davis was reportedly taken into custody without incident.

In a hearing December 30, 2020, Davis pleaded guilty in a plea agreement with the state to a Level 5 Felony charge of possession of methamphetamine. According to court documents, he could serve his four-year sentence with Marshall County Community Corrections.  Those same documents state that any violation of the community corrections program would result in detainment in the Marshall County Jail and the commitment to the Indiana Department of Corrections.

Marshall County Community Corrections was assisted by the Plymouth Police Department.
