Three more people in Marshall County and one person in Pulaski County were listed as newly diagnosed COVID-19 cases in Monday’s daily COVID-19 report from the Indiana Department of Health.
There were 421 new cases of COVID-19 in the state to bring that overall total to 672,967. Out of that number, just over 600 people are COVID-19 patients in hospitals around the state, while 10,005 Hoosiers are actively fighting the virus, according to the Regenstrief Institute.

As of Monday, 1,276,777 first doses of vaccine have been administered in Indiana, and 837,233 individuals are fully vaccinated.
The Indiana Department of Health updated the school COVID-19 dashboard Monday where 512 new student cases in the state were reported from October 26 to March 12, 83 new teacher cases from November 11 to March 12, and 109 new staff cases in the state from February 26 to March 12.
Less than five new student COVID-19 cases were reported at Argos Junior/Senior High School, Culver Community Junior/Senior High School, Lincoln Junior High School, Riverside Intermediate School, John Glenn High School, Urey Middle School, and Walkerton Elementary School. Argos Junior/Senior High School and Culver Academies reported less than five new teacher cases of COVID-19.
