Eight New COVID-19 Cases in Marshall County, No New Cases in Starke, Pulaski Counties

Eight more people in Marshall County have tested positive with COVID-19, while there were no new cases reported in Starke County or in Pulaski County in Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. 

An additional 593 people in the state tested positive with COVID-19 which brings the total number of cases in the state to 668,308. 

Another 22 people in the state died of COVID-19 which pushes the total number of deaths to 12,335. 

The number of COVID-19 patients hospitalized in state is at 635.  The last time the number of COVID-19 hospitalizations was this low was June 29, 2020.

As of Tuesday, 1,154,141 people in the state have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, including 6,816 people in Marshall County, 3,086 people in Starke County and 2,294 people in Pulaski County.  Over 724,000 individuals are fully vaccinated, including 4,720 people in Marshall County, 1,629 people in Starke County and 1,554 people in Pulaski County.
