National Weather Service Issues Winter Weather, Wind Chill Advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory and Wind Chill Advisory that will be in effect beginning midnight Monday (February 15) through 6 a.m. Tuesday (February 16). 

The forecast includes two to four inches of snow and wind chills as low as 20 below zero. 

Driving conditions may be hazardous Monday and Tuesday.  Drivers should allow extra time to reach a destination.   Also, take precautions for wind chills and dress appropriately. 

Update emergency kits for all vehicles.  Kits should consist of a mobile phone charger, extra clothing, blankets, jumper cables, tow strap, small tool kit, emergency flares, shovel, sand or kitty litter for traction, windshield scraper or brush, non-perishable food, and a first-aid kit.
