Marshall County Reports 23 New COVID-19 Cases, Nearly 1,200 Fully Vaccinated

More COVID-19 cases were reported in Marshall, Starke, and Pulaski counties Sunday. The Indiana Department of Health’s update showed 23 new cases in Marshall County, two in Starke County, and three in Pulaski County.

The state as a whole had another 55 confirmed deaths, pushing the total over 11,400. The number of probable COVID-19 deaths without a positive test is now 416.

Meanwhile, local residents continue to get the vaccine. As of Sunday morning, more than 4,400 in Marshall County have gotten the first dose, along with almost 1,900 in Starke County and almost 1,600 in Pulaski County. The number of residents fully vaccinated is approaching 1,200 in Marshall County and 300 in Starke County, while Pulaski County has had more than 300 residents get the second dose.
