A crash in Rochester sent five people to the hospital Friday evening. Indiana State Police say it happened just after 6:00 at U.S. 31 and Sweetgum Road. Troopers believe John Hogan, 43, of rural Macy, Indiana, was driving a Toyota Corolla southwest on Sweetgum Road and pulled into the path of a northbound Nissan Sentra driven by Angela Collins, 49, of Indianapolis.
The drivers and three children in the Nissan were all flown to a Fort Wayne hospital. Police do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
