Northern Indiana remains under a Winter Weather Advisory through 1 a.m. ET/midnight CT.
Roads remain covered with slush, ice, and ponding water which is making driving conditions hazardous. Freezing rain caused ice to build up on trees and led to numerous power outages in the county.
Stay home if possible. If driving is necessary, take extra time to get to a destination, leave plenty of room between vehicles and increase stopping distance.
Marshall County is under an Advisory Level travel advisory for the unincorporated roads in the county. This is the lowest level of local travel advisories. Routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of hazardous situations.
