The Indiana Department of Health reported another 7,344 additional Hoosiers diagnosed with COVID-19 in Thursday’s coronovirus update.
Marshall County had 51 new COVID-19 cases for a new overall total of 4,699, Starke County had 16 new cases for a new overall total of 1,619, and Pulaski County had 11 new cases for a new overall total of 890.
A total of 8,452 people in the state have died from COVID-19 which is an increase of 81 from Wednesday’s report. Those deaths spanned from October 6 to January 6. Another Marshall County resident died on January 5 from COVID-19.
Currently, 2,812 people are hospitalized with COVID-19, which is an increase of 30 from Wednesday’s count.
