A passenger was airlifted to the hospital after being ejected from a vehicle in a crash in Plymouth on Sunday night.
According to a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department report, Stetson Hellyer of La Porte told police he swerved to miss a vehicle on U.S. 30 near Plymouth-Goshen Trail. In doing so, he swerved his Chevrolet Avalanche to the left, ran off the roadway and into the median. The vehicle then rolled and the passenger was ejected from the vehicle. As a result, the passenger sustained multiple injuries.
The vehicle came to rest halfway into the eastbound lane on U.S. 30.
No other injuries were reported.
