Multiple fire departments responded to the Plymouth Walmart Saturday evening. A fire was reported in the roof area of the automotive department around 8:45 p.m., according to Marshall County dispatchers.
By the time firefighters arrived, Plymouth Police had already made their way onto the roof and put out a furnace fire, according to a Plymouth Fire Department Facebook post. Firefighters then applied more water to the furnace to make sure it was extinguished.
No injuries were reported. Plymouth, Culver, and Bremen firefighters, along with Plymouth and Marshall County police all responded.
