Indiana Department of Health Reports Over 2,500 New COVID-19 Cases

There were 2,548 new COVID-19 cases in the state in Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. 

Marshall County had eight new COVID-19 cases for a new overall total of 4,949, Starke County had seven new COVID-19 cases for a new overall total of 1,720, and Pulaski County had no new cases. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Pulaski County remains at 951. 

A total of 8,966 people in the state have died from COVID-19, an increase of 30 from Sunday’s report. 

The coronavirus dashboard for schools on the state’s coronavirus website indicated that a few schools in Marshall County reported less than five new student COVID-19 cases last week.  Those schools include Menominee Elementary School, Plymouth High School, Lincoln Junior High School, Argos Community Junior/Senior High School, Triton Junior/Senior High School, Bremen High School, LaVille Junior/Senior High School, and North Liberty Elementary School.
