Fewer COVID-19 Cases Reported, One COVID-19 Death in Pulaski County

Another resident in Pulaski County has died of COVID-19.  The death occurred on January 12, according to Friday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.

The report indicated that 44 additional people in the state have died from COVID-19 bringing that total to 8,872. 

Marshall County had 35 new positive cases of COVID-19 for a new overall total of 4,905, Starke County had nine new cases for a new overall total of 1,701, and Pulaski County had six new positive cases for a new overall total of 942. 

The age group with the highest percentage of positive tests is 20-29 at 18 percent.  That group is followed by the 30-39 age group and the 40-49 age group. 

The total number of COVID-19 patients are hospitalized is 2,432.
