A Republican Party Caucus is scheduled for Wednesday, January 27 to replace a member on the Marshall County Council in District 3.
Council member Jack Roose resigned from the seat Monday.
Republican Precinct representatives of Center 5, 6, and 7; North 1, 2, and 3; and Polk Township 1 and 2 will be voting.
Anyone interested in filing for the vacancy should send notice to Republican Party Chairman David Holmes no later than 72 hours before the caucus. Letters should be sent to David Holmes, 116 W. Plymouth Street in Bremen.
The Caucus on January 27 begins at 5 p.m. at the Marshall County Republican Headquarters, 117 Water Street in Plymouth.
