The Bremen Redevelopment Commission members were expected to close on a piece of property on E. Plymouth Street this week.
It was the intention of the commission members to acquire the property to clean up the area. Town Attorney Anthony Wagner previously told the Bremen Town Council that the Bi-County building will remain in the RDC’s possession for now. The initial plan is to make it a parking lot for additional downtown parking.
The Bremen Town Council and the Bremen Redevelopment Commission will work together in the future to possibly develop that property.
