The Bourbon Town Council members took action last week to appoint members to the Bourbon Redevelopment Commission.
Town Council President Ward Byers said the Redevelopment Commission oversees the TIF District and its funding. Its members hold an annual appointment.
Terri Barnhart was appointed as the non-voting member from the Triton Community School Corporation, and Byers appointed Les McFarland, Bobby Goodman and Robert Firestone as the president’s appointments. The other council member appointments include Jason Lemler and Athena Stenstrom.
The council members set the first meeting for Tuesday, January 26 at 7 p.m. at the Bourbon Town Hall. The members will organize and an educational piece can take place. They will be able to set their own meeting date and time during that meeting as well.
