The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from Friday morning until mid-afternoon Friday.
A mix of snow and ice is expected with the possibility of up to one inch of snow, and ice accumulations of one-tenth to two-tenths of inch.
Slick and hazardous road conditions may cause a significant increase in accidents and slide-offs. Avoid travel if possible. If travel is necessary, slow down and allow extra time to get to a destination. Be prepared for slick intersections, icy spots on bridges and overpasses, and untreated roads.
