Students in all grade levels at the Union-North United School Corporation in LaVille will return to virtual learning beginning December 8 through January 6.
Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter stated that the decision was made due to the high number of staff and students unable to attend in-person learning because of COVID-19.
Food service will be available to those who previously signed up, but adjustments can be made by calling the school office. Food service will be available Tuesday, December 8 through Tuesday, December 22. If students are current virtual learners, the food pickup schedule will remain the same. Food service will be suspended from December 23 through January 5.
Mawhorter added that school officials are continuing to work to make the school corporation a safe place for students.
